The location is an excellent beach front, and service is amazing. Central location, steps away from all the action. Quiet property and family friendly. Rooms are nice, but with any beachfront property, room maintenance is required. At checkin, we were greeted by mosquitos (I am highly allergic), but upon informing staff, they quickly took steps to resolve the issue. Please note that food and alcohol drinks are pricier than crossing the street and grabbing it at a local restaurant, but the convince to not having to step out of the pool/beach area can be worth it (We are talking Thailand pricing which is super inexpensive). Also, it is a very safe place, security, and CCTV in every entrance.

This Hotel has so much potential, great location right on the main beach but really run down. The bathroom in our room was gross, mouldy silicone in the shower and just felt like it needed a really good clean! Bed and pillows really comfy! Towels smelt musky. We thankfully only stayed one night. Close to Bangla road but far enough away that you don’t hear music pumping all night. Pool smelt super chemically and wasn’t the most inviting area, needs more vibe.

I would definitely do your research if you plan to stay here. We stayed for 4 nights and I would definitely not come back. My husband and I are not super picky, as long as the room is clean, we're usually fine. Unfortunately, the rooms at Impiana were dirty, dusty, moldy, and just need a deep, deep cleaning. You can tell they used to be nice, but that is not the case. The bathrooms are dark and dingy. The showers leak all over the place. The floor is so dirty I didn't want to walk barefoot. I will say the beds were pretty comfortable. We also only had a sliding door as our way of entering the room, so we were pretty exposed all the time. The only upside of this hotel is its location. It's one of the few hotels directly on Patong Beach, which was great for us, because the pool was kind of gross, and we love the ocean. We enjoyed being able to walk up and down the beach and get in the water. It's also centrally located to everything in Patong. Restaurants, shopping, massage, night markets, etc. You can walk right out the main entrance and have everything you need. Also, it's not very service oriented so if you're looking for welcoming staff, this is not the place. While it wasn't the worst place we've stayed it, I definitely would not return. There are other options in Patong.

I just spent 5 nights at Impiana Resort Patong and was so worried because of all the negative recent reviews... Our stay was AMAZING. Ideal location, smiling friendly staff, delicious buffet breakfast, cute resident cats, happy hour and Lek; the adorable 84yr old masseuse who has worked at the Impiana outdoor pool for 40 years! Yes, the resort could do with some upgrades, I couldn't get Wi-Fi in my room (however, I do have an iPhone 10 which may be the reason?!) and some rooms are a bit dark but the authentic Thai experience outweighs all that. Recommend and loved my stay :)

A fantastic stay. Right on the beach could not wish for a better hotel and location. One reminder, sun loungers do not have room numbers on the. Having being told to get off “My” sun lounger (and this at 05:45am) by a German.

Just run away and find another place. We were so shocked but the place that we just gave away the money we paid for 4 nights and found a better place. This is not a 4 starts hotel and rundown doesn’t even describe how bad it was. Dark, curtains were dirty and had wholes in them, bedside lights were dirty and had black spots in them and the worst part that the backdoor to the pool area was not sturdy and the room was full of mosquitoes that kept coming in . For the money paid and the 4 starts label we thought it will be at least decent , i would not pay even 100$ for this place.
